Don't feed the d**n monkeys, you s****d...

If you're a fellow resident in Ampang then you'll know what i'm about to talk about in this post.. As many of you realize, ampang is home to Taman T.A.R, one of the very few places in KL that is still lush and rich with greenery. Many people from all walks of life make it a point to come to Taman T.A.R for their afternoon strolls with the family, or for a jog for those health enthusiasts. However, you know KL.. Nothing actually stays that beautiful for long. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying someone came and chopped off those trees. Quite the contrary, actually. The trees and plants are still standing tall and proud. It is the little creatures that inhabit this little forest and the attention they bring that causes the problem.

As you scroll down, you will see a series of pictures that'll make you go "Wow, I would love to spend my mornings and afternoons here.. It's absolutely beautiful. Picturesque!".






















But then, the minute you finish scrolling down to the very last picture in this post.. Your mind is probably thinking..
"Hey! Hey! Are you sure you're supposed to be doing that??"

"What's going on? Didn't know that cars could jog too.."..ignorant fools!!

"Eh, ni dah terlebih meriah dah ni! Why are none of them jogging? Ke tunggu monyet start dulu?"

"Amboi.. Kasi anak makan ke?"

"Now, this is beautiful.. I mean, the greenery. the trees, the shade, the.. --"


"Hey! What just happened?!"



"Hmm, building a house or a fort?"

" It's amazing how dulu, hutan banyak binatang.. But sekarang ramai manusia.. What's going on? Tu siap ada couple bawak anak kecik.. Ter-switch karang baru tau!"

"Haih.. There's a sign right there! Has Malaysia stopped educating their people English? Or are the people who come here to feed the monkeys blind? Pure ignorance, me thinks!"

"Well, at least ada nombor telephone kat situ.. Wonder if anyone has ever tried calling them to report this.. I'm sure ada."




So there you go folks, as you can see, so many people come to Taman T.A.R, not to jog, but to gawk and feed the monkeys. And as if feeding monkeys when they are specifically told not to is not ignorant enough, these little "humanitarians" even see imaginary yellow parking boxes on the jogging track. How are the joggers supposed to jog now? Hurdle over the cars? God, if it would ever lead to that, Malaysia would win track and field all the time during the Olympics..

Come on, Malaysians.. Jangan lah cakap the government has to put up signs in different languages for you to understand! You're not only pestering the joggers who come, but you're also disturbing the piece of the residents in Taman T.A.R, who I'm pretty sure, bought the houses there to admire the lush greenery and fresh air. Not to see you buggers throw rubbish in the drains and smell that "oh so wonderful" odour of all banana peelings. You have brains, have you ever tried using it? Food for thought, not food for monkeys!

Warna memiliki arti simbolis dan psikologis, dan ada keragaman persepsi mengenai warna, misalnya warna biru secara universal melambangkan kepercayaan.

Bila ada jer salah seorang ahli keluarga nak kawin,mulalah "the wedding planner" -Busu, pening kepala..nak pilih color scheme for the wedding..

We had a meeting on the 6th of Feb,kat rumah Wawa - Boy's (Iskandar)wedding.
saperti biasa meeting yg penting2 lasted only about 30 minutes - tarikh wedding,tugasan utk ahli keluarga,siapa jadi apa..semua dah setuju dgn tugas masing2 except for a few individuals yang tak boleh confirm, mcm Iman, sebab dah start studying semula..a few youngsters yang akan menghadapi peperiksaan,..

Tapi...meeting utk pilih warna lah yang paling lama sekali..
yang paling lucu Boy kena pakai baju Wawa untuk acukan warna,sesuai atau tidak...HAHAHA..


Tak apa Boy..org nak kawin memang selalu kena buli..;p

Anyway,..kalau dah perempuan tu perempuan lah jugak...the guys takde masalah pun..
bila dah berkumpul tu mcm2 idea keluar..tu yang buat meeting tak abis2 tu..

Finally after a long while,lepas Ayah Mus dan sound "Tak habis2 lagi ker??...dah nak mahgrib ni,.sambung next week lah"...baru lah dapat kata putus..itu pun subject to the next meeting...kalau mengikut pengalaman saya that was not the end..
whatever it is...the color chart di atas tu adalah diantara warna2 yang telah dipersetujui oleh majority..
Plain PASTEL is the theme...

Some wild suggestions:

1)lelaki pakai stripe, perempuan pakai polka dots.

2)lelaki perempuan pakai plain pastel ,dan perempuan yang bertudung pakai tudung polka dots.

3)lelaki perempuan pakai polka dots multicolor ..

but, i think this suggestion is not bad :(picture below)

croissant bread butter pudding.

I didn’t think I liked bread pudding until I had this one. Actually I know I didn’t like it. This one changed my mind forever. This is an incredible dessert, It is loaded with croissants!

ramai yang mintak..maybe sebab sedap kot??
dah bagi pun pada yang mintak recipe tu...tapiiiiiii..
just like me,selagi belum cuba selagi tu lah tak ingat2 ingredients ,or dah misplaced the recipe...perkara biasa tu..

So,..untuk mempermudahkan hidup kita semua,i've decided to post the recipe now!..
so sesiapa yang ingin mencuba this delicious pudding,sila rujuk kat blog saya ni..
memang sedap- takkan menyesal mencubanya..

Ingredients:

6 ( Délifrance ) croissants
3 extra large whole eggs
5 extra large egg yolks
1 can evaporated milk ( approximately 2 cups )
3 cups fresh milk...
( actually kalau ada half and half lebih baik...tapi kat malaysia ni i tak jumpa lagi half anf half,so i modified pakai evaporated milk and fresh milk )
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup raisins (optional)
2 tsps vanilla essence

saperti biasa panaskan oven 200°C

mix together sugar,eggs,milk and vanilla in a bowl..
don't beat.. kacau sehingga semua sebati sahaja..


belah dua croissant saperti gambar atas...susun bahagian bawah croissant kedalam baking dish

taburkan raisins ...dan cover semula dgn bahagian atas croissant..


pour eggs and milk mixture kedalam bekas croissant..tekan2 sedikit supaya croissant tu fully soaked dgn egg and milk mixture..
masukkan baking dish ke dalam bekas yang berisi air panas sebelum dibakar..
saperti gambar diatas..

tutup bekas dgn aluminum foil dan tebuk sedikit foil supaya steam dapat di 'release' kan ...hahaha my bahasa is so teruk...i hope you guys faham apa yang ingin saya sampaikan...;p

bakar dalam ketuhar selama 1 jam...selepas 1 jam buka foil dan bakar further for another 10 minutes dgn api atas sahaja,supaya bahgian atas pudding cantik..

*kalau nak sedap lagi,tambahlah dgn cheese (ketika raisin ditaburkan)

selamat mencuba..

Chivalry Isn't Dead,.. yet!

I was taught to treat people with a certain amount of respect,and that it will lead to more positive situations, but society as a whole has to take this into consideration, not just a small handful of people who wishes chivalry would regain the strength to awaken out of the deep sleep it's been in for too many years. The loss of manners and courteousness in modern civilization is truly a let down.

However the incident i'm about to tell you might change your perception about chivalry all together...read on..

So there I was, walking out of Studio 5, Naan Corner after buying some dinner. As I was walking towards my car, I noticed that the guy that had parked his car next to mine was also about to go out. What happens next is a definite "awww.." moment for all my fellow lady` readers..

As I got into my car, I obviously waited for him to reverse his car first, for the obvious reason of him getting into and starting his car up first. So anyway, as soon as the guy had fully reversed his car, I expected him to drive off straight away.. But instead, he reversed further back and gave me way to reverse my car first... Can you say "chivalry", ladies?
I say Yes!...totally!!

...Chivalry is not dead...It's Just on Life Support..;)

Keutamaan Sabar Menghadapi Cobaan

Since today is a Friday,i deem this blog entry worthy of a post that is related to religion...

To say that it has become a trend lately would be far too harsh, but basically that's where I'm sort of going. For the past few weeks, it seems like quite a number of my friends have lost their loved ones, gone through heartbreak, and also other family or relationship debacles. So to those of you who are reading and feel that what I'm saying may be hitting just too close to home, read on and from the bottom of my heart, I hope this sort of makes everything a little bit more bearable. Allah is fair and knows better, just take everything you're going through as a test to see just how strong you are. As the saying goes "Whatever that doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger".

KEUTAMAAN SABAR MENGHADAPI COBAAN

“Artinya : Dari Ummu Al-Ala’, dia berkata : “Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam menjengukku tatkala aku sedang sakit, lalu beliau berkata. ‘Gembirakanlah wahai Ummu Al-Ala’. Sesungguhnya sakitnya orang Muslim itu membuat Allah menghilangkan kesalahan-kesalahan, sebagaimana api yang menghilangkan kotoran emas dan perak”.

Wahai Ukhti Mukminah .!
Sudah barang tentu engkau akan menghadapi cobaan di dalam kehidupan dunia ini. Boleh jadi cobaan itu menimpa langsung pada dirimu atau suamimu atau anakmu ataupun anggota keluarga yang lain. Tetapi justru disitulah akan tampak kadar imanmu. Allah menurunkan cobaan kepadamu, agar Dia bisa menguji imanmu, apakah engkau akan sabar ataukah engkau akan marah-marah, dan adakah engkau ridha terhadap takdir Allah ?

Wasiat yang ada dihadapanmu ini disampaikan Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam tatkala menasihati Ummu Al-Ala’ Radhiyallahu anha, seraya menjelaskan kepadanya bahwa orang mukmin itu diuji Rabb-nya agar Dia bisa menghapus kesalahan dan dosa-dosanya.

Selagi engkau memperhatikan kandungan Kitab Allah, tentu engkau akan mendapatkan bahwa yang bisa mengambil manfaat dari ayat-ayat dan mengambil nasihat darinya adalah orang-orang yang sabar, sebagaimana firman Allah.

“Artinya : Dan, di antara tanda-tanda kekuasaan-Nya ialah kapal-kapal di laut seperti gunung-gunung. Jikalau Dia menghendaki, Dia akan menenangkan angin, maka jadilah kapal-kapal itu terhenti di permukaan laut. Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu terdapat tanda-tanda -Nya bagi setiap orang yang bersabar dan banyak bersyukur”.

Engkau juga akan mendapatkan bahwa Allah memuji orang-orang yang sabar dan menyanjung mereka. Firman-Nya.

“Artinya : Dan, orang-orang yang sabar dalam kesempitan, penderitaan dan dalam peperangan, mereka itulah orang-orang yang benar , dan mereka itulah orang-orang yang bertaqwa”.

Engkau juga akan tahu bahwa orang yang sabar adalah orang-orang yang dicintai Allah, sebagaimana firman-Nya.

“Artinya : Dan, Allah mencintai orang-orang yang sabar”.

Bottom line is friends...bersabarlah,pasrah dah berdoa bila dalam kesusahan atau kedukaan...
semuga kita semua sentiasa dirahmati,diredhai, diberkati Allah..

The reason me typing out this entry is simply because its the 1st day of the new year and it seems only appropriate to do so..and being able to keep the date for this entry as 1111 is an added bonus...yeeehaaaa...

It's that time of year again,when we let go all the mistakes we made in the past and hope for the better outcome in the new year..
not everybody lists down their new year's resolutions tho', but for those who do,make a promise to themselves to keep to their resolutions and hopefully become better people..
But who are we kidding,out of those people who made resolutions only a handful of them keep up to it and the rest just forget about it months later and may be keep their resolutions for the next year..
that's why i don't make any resolutions..cos i'm very impulsive, and it's so Cliché..;))

Anyway,..Here's hoping that everyone has a great 2011 and may all you resolutions come true..
